Channel Sales Manager

We are now looking for an experienced Channel Sales Manager to join the team in Raunheim/Frankfurt, Germany to further develop existing channels, recruit new channel partners, and support these partners in driving sales opportunities for paybox solutions - including business and technical consulting
The right individual will complement our existing direct sales force by leveraging his/her past experience and existing relationships to develop and manage a network of value-added resellers and other channel partners targeting mobile operators and financial service providers.
Primary end user markets include mobile operators, financial services, as well as media and content sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify and recruit new value-added resellers and other channel partners
  • Achieve and then exceed assigned channel sales quota
  • Build pipeline by executing targeted demand generation campaigns in conjunction with partners.
  • Work directly with both channel partner sales representatives and paybox Regional Sales Managers to help drive sales opportunities
  • Serve as the point of contact with new and existing partners to drive channel productivity
  • Act as a business consultant to define service and solutions roadmaps with clients
  • Interface with sales, marketing, services, development and alliances to craft the best value proposition
  • Learn/maintain in-depth knowledge of paybox Mobiliser products provisioning, compliance, and password management products and services - as well as competitors and industry trends
  • Train and support channel partners on paybox's products and services
  • Travel 35-50%

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
  • 5+ years of successful channel sales and/or direct sales for enterprise software and related services
  • Demonstrated technical solution selling skills and a proven track record of exceeding sales quota
  • Experience in the security and/or identity/access management software industry is ideal
  • Ability to draw on a network of existing relationships in order to quickly establish revenue producing relationships
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Superior oral and written communications skills, attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of the mobile services or financial services market is a plus
