We are looking for committed employees to fill the following position:

Systems and DB Administrators
(Frankfurt & Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities:

Job Scope:

  • Responsible for system administration, technical support/trouble shooting, database administration of customer systems as well as the local support office systems.

Core Competencies:

Systems Administration

  • Linux, HP-UX, Sun Solaris and Windows based Operating systems.
  • ORACLE Database administration
  • Maintaining the network infrastructure LAN/WAN, installation, migration & configuration of network client workstations, manage local & domain wide groups.
  • Monitoring and use of network management tools, server management tools & advanced troubleshooting skills in OS related issues.
  • Installing, configuring and trouble shooting Various third party applications such us MQ Series, WebLogic, apart from the NFS, NIS, DNS, SAMBA, APACHE, TOMCAT.
  • Housekeeping the file systems with the coordination of related Database and Application teams. Incase if necessary with the change management activities as per the Change Requests demanded to create, increase and destroy the file systems.
  • Training the customers about the process and required changes.


Client Servicing

  • Managing customer service operations for rendering and achieving quality services.
  • Responsible for resolving customer complaints on performance bottlenecks.
  • Providing value added customer services by attending customer queries and issues.
  • Monitoring the post service activities such as follow up with the customers, service reminders and handling customer grievances for superior customer service.
  • Handling the escalated tasks from various teams and escalating to the appropriate teams within the proper SLA, limitations described by the top level management.


Technical Support/Troubleshooting/ Networking Operations

  • Addressing performance bottlenecks & ensuring maximum network uptime.
  • Providing technical support for data and applications to clients.
  • Troubleshooting of LAN connectivity issues, software's and hardware.
  • Proper communication with the related teams, customers and direct clients updating the required call tests.
  • Preparing various sorts of reports and assisting the management and following the best practices for the perfect delivery.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum years working experience (Telco/Financial background an advantage)
  • Driven, motivated and able to work unsupervised
  • Able to travel as per business requirement.
